We recruit volunteers statewide to support our Healthline callers as Practical Support Volunteers.
Practical Support Volunteers (PSV) provide logistical assistance for people seeking abortion and other reproductive healthcare. PSV support can look like providing transportation, assisting with clinic escorting, and supporting callers financially to support lodging, childcare, gas, meal assistance and other out-of-pocket expenses.
We recruit PSVs throughout the state four times a year, and we do so regionally based on the immediate needs of our Healthline callers. Due to the sensitive and personal nature of this volunteer role, there is significant vetting. Please note that an application does not guarantee an invitation to join training. Interested community members are contacted based on need and city of residence.
